Create HL2 character using XSI, THE Collada aggregator

Part I:

Creating a Half-Life 2 Character with Softimage|XSI from assets coming from Daz Studio, 3ds Max and Maya. Use the Collada file format to export and import the assets. Use the Softimage|XSI features to prepare the character: Polygon Reduction, Merge, GATOR and RenderMap.

Part II:

Use the Softimage|XSI Valve plugins to rig and export the character. Compile the texture and the model using the Source SDK tools. Preview the character in the Source SDK Model Viewer. Replace the Half-Life 2 Police with the new character. Play Half-Life 2 and see the new character in-game.
